Q: Which smart trainers does Swirv support?

Swirv works with most Bluetooth-enabled smart trainers and power meters that follow common standards. If your trainer connects to your iPhone as a Bluetooth power source, there's a good chance Swirv can use it.

Q: Can I use Swirv and Zwift at the same time?

Yes. Many athletes run Zwift for visuals and use Swirv to control the trainer and guide intervals. Swirv handles the structure and power targets; you choose the riding environment.

Q: Do I need a membership to use Swirv?

You need a membership to build and follow a training plan, guided interval execution, smart-trainer ERG control, and Strava sync. You can still open the app, view your training history, and export your data, without a membership.

Q: What's included in the free experience?

Without a membership, you can install Swirv, connect Apple Health, import your ride history, and run FTP tests. You'll never be locked out of the app or your data.

Q: How does the weekly planning engine actually work?

Swirv looks at your recent training history, weekly load, and completed workouts to build a plan that fits your current fitness. At the end of each week, it updates the upcoming plan based on what you actually did — how much you rode, which sessions you completed, and how your training load is trending.

Q: Is Swirv only for experienced cyclists?

No. Swirv can support riders who are new to structured training as well as experienced cyclists. The goal is to meet you where you are and build from there, not overload you with intensity from day one.

Q: Does Swirv work for outdoor rides?

Yes. Swirv is built around indoor workouts and smart-trainer control, but outdoor rides you import from Strava or Apple Health count toward your weekly load and can influence what the next week looks like.

Q: Is Swirv available on iPad or Mac?

Swirv is currently built and optimized for iPhone. iPad and other platforms may come later as we continue to develop the product.

Q: Is Swirv still in beta?
